Residential Living

People in our comprehensive residential program live in two basic types of settings, with wide variations within each.
Host Homes: An individual, couple or family takes one or two of people receiving services into their own home, and makes the consumers part of their family. This is the most common setting because it provides the greatest amount of available supports and supervision, but offers tremendous flexibility.
Independent Living: one, two or three consumers live in an apartment or house, with staff who visit on a regular basis to assist them with any and all activities of daily living. In a few situations, staff either lives in the home or rotates on a 24-hour basis.
