Lori has over 25 years' experience working in the Developmental Disabilities field and has been one of Carmel’s Quality Assurance Managers for the past 4 years, covering our Central and Northern regions. Lori started her career in direct care services in Ohio and quickly gained a promotion to Group Home House Manager where she remained for 8 years. After moving to Boulder, she worked as an employment consultant and later as a supervisor at a consumer job placement agency for 7 years. Following this, she was a Case Manager in the Adams county area for 6 years.
Today, Lori is a certified American Heart CPR/FA instructor, HUD Housing Quality Inspector, and will soon become a Safety Cares Instructor. She monitors and reviews Carmel’s Day Program and Residential services, to ensure consumers are getting the services that will meet all of their needs, which remains her number one focus.
Originally from Ohio, Lori earned her Associate’s degree in special education from Sinclair Community College in Dayton and has lived in Colorado for the past 18 years. Her motto in life: “To give, love, and laugh as much as possible.”
