Judy Crane - Manager of Nursing Services
Judy has worked for Carmel for a total of fourteen years, six years in the prior facility and eight years in the current program. In the interim, she spent six years working in Home Health and Hospice. She was named to her present position in 2002. As Manager, Judy coordinates Nursing Services across all of Carmel’s offices to assure quality, consistency and compliance with state regulations and Carmel policies. She also conducts training sessions for nurses and lay staff on a variety of medical topics.
Judy is originally from Kansas, and received her RN from the Jane C. Stormont School of Nursing at Washburn University in Topeka, where she worked in the Pediatrics ICU for six years. She moved to Colorado in 1970 and worked in a pediatrician’s office for 15 years before joining Carmel. Judy lives in Boulder with her husband and three cats. She enjoys quilting, and under her company name “3 Cats Quilting” she makes and sells quilts at craft shows in the area.
