Ben Rodman - Central Region Manager
Ben Rodman has worked in human services in varying capacities since 1990. He moved to Colorado in 1998, from his native Wisconsin where he attended the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire. In 1999, he was hired as a program coordinator in Carmel’s Central Region. After a brief dalliance with managing a retail store in 2004, Ben quickly moved to return to Carmel, this time to our Northern Region. He progressed from Human Resources Coordinator to Program Manager and then to Assistant Regional Manager, before accepting the position of Central Regional Manager in 2007.
Ben has also worked with dually-diagnosed children, high-risk adjudicated adolescents, in a vocational rehabilitation workshop, and is a Crisis Prevention Institute Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Certified Instructor. He has also been a professional musician, a librarian assistant, a stage manager at a major performing arts center, and a home beer and winemaking instructor at a local home brewing store. His interests and hobbies include gardening, fishing and hunting, backpacking, bird watching, beekeeping, home beer wine and mead making, science, and world events. Ben lives in Lyons with his wife, dog, two cats, countless pampered houseplants, and several boxes of stinging insects.
